Archaeology Backpack

Archaeology is the scientific study of past human life through the examination of material culture. Archaeologists use special techniques to unearth artifacts, which are objects made or used by humans. Studying artifacts helps us learn about cultures, technologies, and behaviors of the past. Students will learn about the basic concepts of archaeology, such as excavation, classifying artifacts, and making hypotheses through hands-on activities.
